How Canvasmates handles your information. Operated by Rocket City Lead Co. Last updated November 7, 2026.
We do not run ads and we do not sell personal information. There are no advertising trackers on Canvasmates.
Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep records of plan purchases (what plan, when, which host) to run your account.
Uploaded photos are checked before they are stored. When a scanning provider is configured, the photo is sent to that provider for an automated check for nudity, violence, and similar content, and only the result comes back to us. Reports from people in a room may lead to content being hidden or removed, and illegal material is reported as the law requires.
Anyone with a room's link can open it, unless the host made it private with a passcode. Do not share links for boards you want kept between specific people, and do not put secrets on a board.
Board content stays until the board is cleared or the host asks us to delete it. To delete your boards or host data, email us and we will remove them. Safety reports may be kept longer where the law requires.
Canvasmates is not directed at children under 13, and hosts should not create accounts for them.
